ATX Ballers Youth Sports gives young players the guidance, training and boost they need to take their game to the next level. In a fun, challenging yet supportive environment, we offer skills camps and trainings that cater to all levels, from beginners to advanced players.
Our basketball, soccer, and track & field lessons and camps are for ages 5-13 and 14-18. We have an amazing coach-to-player ratio that is typically 1:8.
In Spring 2020, ATX Ballers started its first track & field programs, a fun curriculum developed by former Division 1 track stars.
In Spring 2021, the program expansion continued as soccer lessons were started in the Greater Austin area.
Our impressive coach-to-player ratio, typically 1:8, gives players individualized attention. ATX Ballers coaches also have several decades' worth of playing and coaching experience. Most of our coaches also coach at the AAU (club) level, and many have played collegiately and professionally. Each coach has recently passed a background check and received coaching training. Our sports lessons and camps are for ages 4-13 and 14-18. We don't turn away any kids, regardless of their family's income level. Our program relies on partnerships with local businesses in order to help fund our scholarship program.
History
ATX Ballers Youth Sports was started by Coach Nick Erskine in 2017 out of an apartment complex. Coach Nick has 15 years' worth of basketball coaching experience, most of which has been at the high school level in Texas and California. He views ATX Ballers as a means to help provide every Central Texas player with high-quality, affordable lessons. He is a Christian who has been called by God to serve every family through sports, regardless of their backgrounds.
